Lawyer Knut-Asbjørn Solevåg has run his own law practice in Ålesund since 1 January 1990. He has extensive professional experience that stretches back to 1972, when he took his civil service exam. Solevåg has had administrative practice and has been a deputy judge. In the period from 1977 to 1987, he worked as a municipal attorney in Ålesund, before gaining experience from a larger legal community in the city until 1990.
Solevåg has many years of procedural experience and acts as legal adviser to members of the Norwegian Automobile Association (NAF) in Ålesund and Sunnmøre. His office also has an employee, Synnøve Fagerhaug, who graduated as a legal assistant from DNA in 2002.
