Lesekiosk was founded in May 2025 by Leser sørker bok and Foreningen !les, and has over 50 years of experience in the reading industry. The organization focuses on promoting a love of reading through various projects, including language cafes and activities aimed at readers and communicators. Lesekiosk also offers READING kiosks for book exchange, which offer the possibility of sharing literature between readers.
As part of its work, Lesekiosk participates in the Norwegian Literature Festival as a partner, which helps to strengthen their commitment to literature and reading in society. In addition, they offer resources such as the 100-lista 2025, which have been developed to support both readers and broadcasters in their literary experiences. Lesekiosk also provides support and advice related to literature prizes and projects, which further emphasizes their role in promoting literature and reading.
