Moa Library is located in modern premises at Amfi Moa Syd in Ålesund. The library is part of a network of eleven libraries that actively promote literature and culture. Visitors can borrow books, do homework, play games, read newspapers and meet others. Moa Library also offers digital services, which gives users access to resources outside the physical premises.
The library organizes various activities such as book talks, quizzes and special events, including "Les Vegas, baby!" and the marking of Geology Day. Moa Library also participates in the Sommarles programme, which encourages children to read during the summer months. In addition, a literature prize is awarded for outstanding works, which highlights the library's commitment to literature and reading. With the meirope library scheme, users can also access the facilities outside normal opening hours.
