Oscar Larsen AS, established in 1899, has a long history in fish production and export. The company specialized early on in cutfish, but over the years has had variations in its business, including the operation of a fishing boat company and a woodwork factory. Towards the end of the 20th century, the building materials department became the most important part of the company.
In 1999, Oscar Larsen AS celebrated its 100th anniversary, at the same time as cutfish production was closed down. Today, the company is focused on letting and operating properties. Oscar Larsen AS is owned by the Larsen family.
