Ålesund og Omegn Geologiforening is an organization whose aim is to promote interest in geology in the Møre og Romsdal region. The association offers geological tours that give participants the opportunity to explore and learn about the local geology and natural history. Through these trips, members and other interested parties gain insight into the area's unique geological conditions.
In addition to the tours, the association has an image and information gallery that focuses on geological themes, as well as a publication called GeoPosten.
