TOV-Trøndelag Ortopedeske Verksted dept. Ålesund is a clinic and workshop that specializes in the development, manufacture and adaptation of orthopedic aids. The center offers a wide range of services, including maintenance of aids and specially adapted shoes through the TOV shoe shop. Emphasis is placed on individual adaptation to meet the specific needs of each individual patient.
To simplify the process for patients, electronic referral is used. In addition, treatment aids are offered, and information material is available for patients who want more information about the services. TOV also has a research and development fund, which supports continuous improvement and innovation in orthopedic aids.
