Verkstad da Vinci is a primary school in Ålesund which is a collaboration between Ålesund municipality and Aggregat Kunstnerfellesskap. The school aims to strengthen the creative development of students by integrating art and culture into the education system. This is achieved through creative workshops and activities offered to pupils in the 5th grade, where they get the opportunity to participate in educational schemes.
Students are visited by professional artists from various art forms, including visual art, dance, theatre, music, performance, writing, animation and crafts. These artist meetings take place in Verkstad da Vinci's cultural space in Torghallen, where arrangements are made for an inspiring and creative learning environment.
