FeFo, or Finnmarkseiendommen Finnmárkkuopmodat, is a significant player in land management in Finnmark, where they administer 95 percent of the area. As a separate legal entity, FeFo is responsible for the management of land and natural resources in accordance with the Finnmark Act, which regulates the population's rights to land and water in the region. This makes FeFo the country's second largest landowner.
The company has a strong focus on sustainability and vitality in the region, and offers a number of services related to hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. Among the services are the support scheme for moose hunting, known as Giisá, and the possibility of registering catch reports from small game hunting. FeFo also provides access to cabin rentals and party agreements, as well as information about current hunting and fishing locations, which helps to promote outdoor activities and nature experiences in Finnmark.
