Alta Kraftlag is an energy group that has been part of the local community since 1948. The company is engaged in power generation and electrical contracting services, as well as the development of electricity and fiber networks in its supply area. With several hydroelectric power plants as part of its production, Alta Kraftlag focuses on sustainable energy solutions for both the private and professional markets.
As a cooperative, Alta Kraftlag is owned by its customers in Alta, Loppa and Kvænangen. The company has several wholly owned subsidiaries, including AKSA Hjem, AKSA El, AKSA Vann and Alut, which contribute to its comprehensive service offering. With around 70 employees, the group has its head office in the center of Alta, as well as installation stations in Øksfjord and Burfjord, and is actively involved in social and business development in the region.
