Alta Museum - World Heritage Center for Rock Carvings is a museum that focuses on rock art and the history of Alta. The museum houses over 3,000 rock carvings, which are dated to be over 7,000 years old. In addition to the impressive collection of rock art, the museum offers both permanent and temporary exhibitions that highlight various aspects of local culture and history.
