Alta Fire Station serves as the main fire station for Alta Municipality and represents the permanent emergency response for the residents. The station is staffed with 24-hour personnel who ensure a rapid response to emergencies. In addition to the main station, the fire department has five auxiliary stations in the districts, which are staffed by call crews.
