Alta Idrettsforening, often referred to as Alta IF, is a multi-sport club that offers activities in football, handball, cross-country skiing, volleyball and athletics. The club has a special focus on children's sports and the development of young talents, which is reflected in their offers and events. Alta IF organizes, among other things, the Altaturneringa and TINE football school, which are popular activities for children and young people.
In addition to the regular activities, the club organizes club championships and special events such as the Bæskadesrennet.
