The Consulate of Iceland in Bergen offers a number of citizen services for Icelandic citizens. The Consulate is tasked with assisting with the issuance of emergency passports in cases where ordinary passports have been lost or expired. In addition, new passports can be delivered that have been ordered through the embassy or directly from Iceland.
The Consulate also arranges advance voting in elections, which gives Icelandic citizens the opportunity to participate in the democratic process even when they are abroad. It is important to note that the Consulate does not have fixed opening hours, and meetings are arranged as needed to accommodate inquiries from the public.
