Mediefondet Zefyr AS is a financial institution based in Bergen, specializing in investing private capital in Norwegian films, series and games. The fund also manages state grants for audiovisual productions. Since its inception in 2016, Mediefondet Zefyr has contributed to 246 productions, generating NOK 733 million in value creation in associated regions.
As the largest regional fund for audiovisual production in Norway, Mediefondet Zefyr has an ambition to strengthen production activity in southern and western Norway. The fund also aims to develop a sustainable industry for audiovisual production. Over the past three years, the fund has achieved a net annual return of 7.8 percent and awarded over NOK 85 million in support to various projects.
