The Children's BibLab at Sletten is part of the Bergen Public Library and reopened its doors in the autumn holidays 2023 after a renovation. The library was developed in collaboration with children from the Årstad district, and is aimed at children aged 6 to 13. It offers a varied program that includes language learning, creative activities and homework help.
In addition to the regular activities, coding clubs and youth evenings are arranged, as well as a junior club for younger children. The Children's BibLab also has a language café for language exchange and offers computer help for all age groups. With a focus on creativity and learning through play, the library creates an engaging and inclusive atmosphere for visitors. The library also has facilities such as its own kitchen and areas for gaming and workshop activities.
