Bergen Aikidoklubb is one of Norway's oldest aikido clubs and practices Aikikai Aikido under the Norwegian Aikido Federation. The club's main goal is to develop both body, soul and mind through training in the martial art of aikido. This is achieved by studying natural movements and flow with the attacker, which contributes to a deeper understanding of self-defense.
The training is adapted to members of all ages, from children to adults, and opportunities are offered for family training where the whole family can participate together. The club focuses on cooperation and respect, and there is no emphasis on competitions. Instead, there is an emphasis on personal development and customized training based on the members' individual goals.
