The Industrial Laboratory Foundation (ILAB) has over 30 years of experience in aquaculture and aquaculture research. The institute conducts more than 250 experiments annually, contributing to the development of knowledge and technology in the field. ILAB has high expertise in various water qualities, including temperature, salinity and filtration, and has its own facilities for both fresh and salt water.
Located in Marineholmen, a recognized marine research cluster, ILAB is equipped with modern facilities such as a hatchery, a fry hall and a RAS facility. The institute offers services such as feed trials and consultancy services, with a particular focus on fish welfare and sustainable aquaculture. This makes ILAB an important player in research and development in the aquaculture sector.
