Borea Asset Management is an active asset management company specializing in banking and high-yield bonds. The company manages eight funds, four of which are equity funds and four bond funds. Borea Asset Management aims to achieve long-term and profitable returns for its clients, and emphasizes an investment process that is characterized by long-termism, risk management and transparency.
The company was established on February 18, 2005 and is licensed by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority to manage alternative investment funds, mutual fund management, active management and investment advice. Borea Asset Management is owned by Trond Mohn, the Rieber family, the Ulstein family and employees. The company has active management agreements with two investment companies and management and administration of four Norwegian special funds, including Borea Utbytte, Borea Høyrente, Borea Kreditt and Borea Obligasjon, as well as the UCITS fund Borea Rente. The total assets under management are approximately NOK 7 billion, and the clients consist of large professional players and wealthy private individuals.
