byROMMET is a non-profit initiative run by the member organisation Bergen Sentrum AS. Located at Kong Oscars gate 24-26, it functions as an inclusive community space in the centre of Bergen. The place is designed to be a lively meeting place, where visitors can participate in various activities and events throughout the year. Among the well-known events is the world's largest Gingerbread City, as well as play activities for both children and adults.
The café in byROMMET offers a cosy atmosphere with a large outdoor seating area, and the place has flexible premises that can be adapted to different types of events, including courses, meetings, mini-fairs and weddings. The profits from the operation are reinvested in measures that will make the centre of Bergen more attractive and vibrant. byROMMET is supported by the community in Bergen, and aims to create an inclusive atmosphere for all visitors.
