Bergen Coffee Roastery was established in 2009 and offers a diverse selection of specialty coffees from various regions, including Kenya and Ethiopia. The coffee production focuses on highlighting the unique character of the bean, which is influenced by both the soil and the climate in which it grows. The coffee is roasted gently and packaged in airtight bags with a valve to preserve its quality. Freshly roasted coffee is offered every week, and coffee tastings are held every Thursday morning.
The coffee shop serves freshly brewed coffee, as well as espresso-based drinks. In addition, pastries and pizza baked in an Italian stone oven are offered from Wednesday to Sunday. On Saturdays, there is Saturday porridge for the whole family. Bergen Coffee Roastery also offers coffee courses and wholesale sales, as well as a coffee subscription that provides monthly surprises.
