Bergen Masjid, also known as Bergen Moské, was established in 2001 as a merger of Bergen Islamic Cultural Center and Bergen Islamic Association. The mosque belongs to the Sunni sect and brings together the four largest law schools under one roof. It functions as the county's largest religious community and has been active in Bergen since 1995. The organization has approximately 3,000 members from over 70 different nations, and is led by a board of 11 members, as well as 9 advisors and 3 imams.
Bergen Moské offers an open and inclusive environment for its members, with a focus on community and unity. It organizes a number of religious and cultural activities, as well as teaching and guidance in Islamic values. The mosque aims to promote understanding and respect between different cultures, and runs several projects and initiatives aimed at the community to support this purpose.
