Fargespill is an artistic organization that aims to promote inclusion and understanding through cultural communication. With three companies in Bergen, Oslo and Bodø, they produce stage performances with children and young people from different cultures and backgrounds, aged 7 to 25. The organization engages local communities in creative projects and focuses on cooperation between different cultures, which contributes to personal and collective development.
Since its inception in 2004, Fargespill has been very successful, with over 400,000 audiences seeing the performances nationwide. The concept has been spread to several Norwegian cities through licenses, and the foundation also works on projects aimed at schools. Fargespill has received several awards and distinctions, and has been nominated for both the Spellemann Prize in 2011 and the Nobel Peace Prize.
