Høyersten Contemporary is a commercial art gallery in Bergen, established by Simone and Erlend Aalbæk Høyersten. The gallery has an area of 500 square meters and aims to promote quality, relevance and integrity in contemporary art. Høyersten Contemporary focuses primarily on Nordic and European contemporary art, with a diverse presentation of painting, drawing and sculpture.
In addition to traditional art forms, the gallery also includes installations, photography, video and performance in its exhibitions. Høyersten Contemporary collaborates with established artists, but also has an active focus on discovering and supporting new talent. The gallery organizes art fairs and offers art consultancy, and regularly shows exhibitions with different artists to enrich the art scene in Bergen.
