Bryggens Museum - The city museum in Bergen is a museum that focuses on archaeological finds from medieval Bergen. The museum was established in 1976 with the aim of imparting knowledge about the city's history and cultural heritage. In the basic exhibition, everyday life in the Middle Ages is presented through a number of objects and building remains, as well as the world's largest collection of runic inscriptions.

The museum offers changing exhibitions with varied themes, and visitors can take part in guided tours in Norwegian or English. An activity booklet has been developed for children that includes drawing competitions and treasure hunts. In addition, there is a museum shop that offers quality gifts and books. Bryggens Museum also organizes guided tours and walks that explore Bryggen's history, as well as temporary exhibitions and events.
