Landås Menighets Eldresenter (LME) is a private, non-profit senior center located in the Landås district of Bergen. The senior center is run by a non-profit foundation and has been active in senior care for nearly 50 years. LME has an operating agreement with Bergen Municipality and employs approximately 130 employees in 90 positions.
The center focuses on values such as respect, security, openness and well-being, and offers a varied selection of services for both residents and day care. Various activities are arranged, including bingo and communal breakfast, to promote social interaction. A generation crew is also part of the service, and this crew works to strengthen ties between generations. In addition, the center has an activity center with a weekly menu and activity calendar, which contributes to an active and engaging environment for everyone involved.
