EBA Vestenfjelske, founded in 1916, is the oldest branch of the Norwegian Association of Contractors – Construction in Norway. The association functions as a trade and employer association for contractors in Vestland County, and currently has 60 members. EBA Vestenfjelske is an autonomous part of EBA, which is affiliated with BNL (Norwegian Construction Association) and NHO (Norwegian Confederation of Industry).
The association is responsible for two training offices that include 230 member companies and handle over 400 apprentices. EBA Vestenfjelske is the largest organizer of construction courses in Vestland County and organizes annual conferences such as Vestlandske Bygg og Anleggsdag and Entreprisedagen. The focus is on sustainability, digitalization and seriousness within the industry, and the association also offers member meetings, conferences and professional courses for both managers and employees.
