The Joint Organization (FO) Vestland is a trade union with over 4,900 members, including students. The organization's main goal is to improve its members' pay and working conditions, as well as to safeguard their professional interests. FO Vestland is affiliated with the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and is involved in health and social policy advocacy.
To support its members, FO Vestland offers various courses and events, as well as a shop steward portal with tools for shop stewards. The organization is also active in international solidarity work and publishes reports and analyses on relevant topics. Among the events are the Researcher Breakfast and the Social Worker Podcast, which contribute to professional development and networking among its members.
