The Student Parliament at the University of Bergen serves as a representative unit for the students at the university. The organization's main task is to safeguard the rights and interests of students, as well as to engage in issues that affect the student community. This includes, among other things, participating in discussions about educational policy and other relevant topics that affect students' everyday lives.
The Student Parliament also offers opportunities for students to become student representatives, which gives them a platform to influence decisions that concern their studies and student life. In addition, they organize student elections, which give all students the opportunity to participate in the democratic process and contribute to the development of the university's offerings and services. Through its work, the Student Parliament promotes engagement and participation among students.
