Team Sailing Daniel is an organization based in Bergen, Norway, that focuses on long-distance sailing. The organization has participated in the Golden Globe Race, a retro sailing competition that goes around the world, and has sailed approximately 35,000 nautical miles. The current leader has extensive experience in solo sailing and long ocean voyages, and has previously worked as a commercial diver.
Inspired by the book "A World of my Own" by Robin Knox-Johnston, the leader sailed solo around the world from 2008 to 2012. With a background from Sweden and now living in Norway, he has a great passion for adventure and enjoys spending long periods alone at sea. Team Sailing Daniel is now preparing to participate in the Golden Globe Race 2026.
