Årstad Upper Secondary School is centrally located on Danmarksplass in Bergen, close to the light rail stop. The school offers a wide range of 23 different study options, which gives students the opportunity to choose directions that suit their interests and future plans. Great importance is placed on creating a safe and good school environment, where cooperation with parents and guardians is an important part of the student's success.
The school also has a focus on digital learning, and a digital brochure is available that provides information about the learning methods used. In addition to the academic offer, Årstad School organizes school elections and youth party debates, which gives students the opportunity to engage in social issues. To support all students, adapted training for minority language speakers is included, and it is a requirement that all students have their own PC for schoolwork.
