Bergen Karate Martial Arts Club offers versatile and effective martial arts training, with a focus on both Kyokushinkai and realistic self-defense. The club has a holistic approach to martial arts, where members are encouraged to develop physically and mentally. The training is adapted to both adults and children, with a gradual approach for the youngest athletes. The trainers are trained through the Norwegian Martial Arts Federation, which is affiliated with the Norwegian Sports Federation.
The club will open a new dojo on May 7, 2024, and has intakes for beginners in January and August-September. It is also possible to put yourself on a waiting list. New members are offered free training, and everyone is welcome to participate. Bergen Karate Martial Arts Club emphasizes the development of self-confidence, self-control, courtesy and respect among members. It is worth noting that the club is closed during the school holidays for Bergen Municipality.
