Folkeuniversitetet Bergen is a language school that offers tailor-made language training for the public sector and business. The school was founded in 2008 by Odd Bjerga and has since developed a varied training offer. With a focus on flexible training programs, the courses are adapted to the participants' individual needs, and course materials are developed that are tailored to meet specific learning goals.
The school offers language courses in Norwegian and English, as well as other languages upon request. Participants have the opportunity to study either online or at one of the language centers in Oslo, Bergen or Stavanger. Folkeuniversitetet Bergen is a recognized course provider for the business sector and can tailor courses for groups and individuals, as well as organize workshops for departments or entire companies. They are also an approved provider of the Kompetansepluss Arbeid course under the auspices of Kompetanse Norge, which provides opportunities for companies with language challenges in the workplace.
