BADS (Bergen Amateur Dramatic Society) is a theatre group founded in 1998 by Rosemary Lund. The group aims to include children and adults of all ages, and places great emphasis on a sense of mastery and a positive, supportive environment. With around 70 members, which also includes a crew for make-up, costumes, lighting, sound and stage, BADS has developed into an active player in the local theatre scene.
Every year, BADS stages performances in Fana Kulturhus, where they present varied pieces with elements of song, dance and humour. This year's production is "Peter Pan", which takes the audience to the fairytale Neverland and includes well-known characters such as Tinkerbell and Captain Hook. The performance will be partly performed in English and will take place in January-February 2026. BADS aims to create a unique experience for the audience, where the interaction between actors and spectators is central.
