Ulrike Pihl House is part of the University of Bergen and serves as an important resource for students at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The building offers several reading rooms spread over several floors, including quiet reading rooms for those who need a quiet environment for their studies. In addition, there are seminar rooms that can be used as workplaces for students, providing flexible opportunities for group work and individual study.
During exam periods, the reading room capacity increases to accommodate the greater need for study places. Ulrike Pihl House also has special rooms such as the Speech Room and the Action Room, which provide students with unique opportunities for discussion and collaboration. To support the needs of students, bookcases and rest rooms are available, as well as access to external PC screens in the seminar rooms. The building functions as a "home" on campus, offering meeting places that promote social interaction among students.
