Catalysts is a voluntary organization based in Bergen, Norway, that aims to promote inclusion and diversity in society. The organization offers a six-month mentoring program specifically aimed at people with multicultural backgrounds. The program focuses on developing the strengths of the participants, and mentors are trained in strength-finding methods to be able to support their mentees in the best possible way.
In addition to the mentoring program, Catalysts offers workshops and strategy development for companies, with the aim of increasing diversity competence in the workplace. The organization also practices reverse mentoring, which promotes mutual learning between mentors and mentees. Catalysts collaborates with local companies and organizations to strengthen relationships and contribute to the social mission of creating a more inclusive environment. The Professional Compass is a tool used to map strengths and resources, and helps identify opportunities for personal and professional development.
