The Bergen Red Cross Joint Office is a voluntary organization that engages in humanitarian efforts in the local community. With around 1,000 volunteers and 40 different activities, they offer a wide range of services. The organization focuses on supporting people in need and promotes social inclusion through its programs.
One of the central activities is homework help, which is offered to both young people and adults. In addition, an open house is arranged every Friday, where socializing and various activities are facilitated. The joint office also functions as an activity center for young people, which provides a safe and inclusive environment for this group. There are opportunities to become a volunteer, member or grassroots donor, which helps to strengthen the community and commitment in the local community.
