LHL Bergen is a local branch of the Norwegian Heart and Lung Association, founded in October 1943. The organization aims to improve the quality of life for people with heart and lung diseases, stroke, aphasia and allergies, as well as their relatives. With over 2,165 members, LHL Bergen offers a varied range of activities that are open to everyone, regardless of health status.
The activities include regular open meetings with lectures and social gatherings, where both members and non-members can participate. The organization is largely run by voluntary efforts from its members, and also offers counseling services and training opportunities. LHL Bergen is a platform for support and community for people of all ages who want to improve their health and quality of life.
