LINK Bergen and the surrounding area is a voluntary organisation that offers conversation groups for people over the age of 18. The organisation aims to promote social cohesion and engagement in the local community. By starting groups for different age groups, they focus on conflict management and relationship building, and create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for the participants.
Supported by the Laila and Harald Schelderup Scholarship and Gift Fund, LINK organises activities that help to strengthen the community among the residents of Bergen and the surrounding area. Groups are started on an ongoing basis when there are 5-8 participants ready, which gives regular participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and develop relationships. The organisation is open to collaboration and participation from interested parties.
