Memoar is a Norwegian organization that focuses on oral history. The organization aims to collect, document, archive and disseminate oral source material that sheds light on our time. This work is carried out in collaboration with various actors such as history societies, voluntary organizations, museums, libraries, archives and research environments.
In addition to collecting and documenting, Memoar contributes to the development and dissemination of expertise and infrastructure related to oral history. The organization emphasizes creating a network of partners to strengthen the work of preserving and sharing oral stories and experiences.
