Musikkontoret Brak is a non-governmental organization that aims to professionalize artists and companies in the music industry in Vestland. The organization offers guidance and seminars for the music community, and has organized the international songwriting camp Bergen Songs since 2016. In addition, Brak is responsible for the conference for the music and industry festival Vill Vill Vest, which takes place every autumn.
Brak also focuses on sustainable festivals through the Grøn Festival initiative. The organization has offices staffed with industry professionals who are available to provide help and support to artists and music-related companies. They also produce the podcast Braksnakk, which provides tips and advice about the music industry, and works with inclusive measures to create better spaces for music.
