Nesttun Eldresenter is an institution that has been engaged in interdisciplinary social work since 1989. The center offers a variety of services, including an open kindergarten, a volunteer center, a senior center and initiatives for better mental health. With approximately 20 regular activities available to everyone, the center aims to create an inclusive community where all visitors will feel seen and useful.
Located in two houses close to each other in Nesttun, the Eldresenteret focuses on care and social cohesion. In 2015, the foundation was awarded the Diakoniprisen, which emphasizes their commitment to supporting seniors and promoting well-being in the local community. The center serves as an important meeting place for seniors, and contributes to an active and meaningful life for its users.
