Prosperastiftelsen Vestland is a non-profit organization based in Bergen, which aims to support non-profit organizations through competence-based volunteering. With a network of 1,800 pro bono consultants, the foundation offers free services in areas such as strategic consulting, marketing, fundraising, accounting and website development. This gives aid organizations the opportunity to realize their projects and reach more people.
The foundation carries out projects that last three months, where consultants are engaged to contribute their expertise. During its activities, Prosperastiftelsen has donated services worth 200 million kroner and performed 137,000 pro bono hours. In addition, they collaborate with Stiftelsen Dam to promote health volunteering and have a special focus on preventing exclusion through mapping needs in society.
