The learning workshop Trålveien Idrettsbarnehage is located in scenic surroundings by Lake Bodø/Alstad in Bodø. The nursery is known as the first and only sports nursery in the area, and has a special focus on the joy of movement and mastery for the children. The nursery also participates in the university nursery project in collaboration with Nord University, which can contribute to professional development and quality in the offer.
The nursery serves three meals a day, including hot food, and has its own minibus which is used for excursions to local reference areas. An upgrade of the outdoor area is planned to improve the play experiences for the children. In addition, the nursery will switch to age-graded groups, which can facilitate better adapted activities and learning opportunities.
