Bykirka is a Free Church congregation in Bodø that belongs to the Pentecostal movement. The congregation is open to everyone, regardless of faith or membership. Every Sunday, a service is held in Folkets Hus, located at Prinsens gate 115, where Sunday school is also offered for children aged 4-10 years. The Sunday school has varied content and is led by committed adults who also lead activities for the children.
In addition to Sunday school, Bykirka offers a Tentro program for young people, which focuses on life's big questions. The congregation emphasizes community and the opportunity to experience God in everyday life, with a belief that God wants the best for people. The city church also organizes congregation trips, such as to Arjeplog, and has activities in its base, P3, located in Professor Schyttes gate 3.
