Windsaw is a sculpture created by Gunnar H. Gundersen, who is known for utilizing natural forces, especially wind, in his works of art. The sculpture "Wind-saw" is constructed of clay-marble, saw wire and steel, and is designed to evolve over time. It will continuously change shape and expression based on the strength of the wind, which gives it a dynamic character.
Gundersen combines elements from nature with mechanical constructions, resulting in active and productive sculptures. Windsag is also linked to Bodø's climate and the planned development of the airport in the area. The project is part of the Norwegian Sculpture Association, which organizes Norsk Skulpt.
