Nordland Fryseterminal is a modern cold storage facility located in the inner harbor on Burøya in the center of Bodø. The terminal was established in February 2019 and is owned by Nyhamn, Kvarøy Fish Farming and Fram Seafood. The facility has a 120-metre quay that provides direct access to the sea, and it is also easily accessible from land.
The freezer terminal offers storage of a range of frozen products, including raw and finished goods such as red fish, white fish, pelagic fish, shellfish, meat and other foodstuffs. The terminal focuses on sustainability and environmentally friendly solutions, and is certified as an Environmental Lighthouse. The storage solutions are flexible and adapted to different needs, and the warehouse logistics is handled through an EDI warehouse management system that enables tracking of all pallets in storage.
