Bodø Bunker Museum is a museum located in Bodø and focuses on the city's military history during the Second World War. The museum is housed in Bodø's largest concrete bunker, which was built by the Germans in Jentofthaugen in the period 1943-1944. The bunker is a bomb- and gas-proof facility, constructed with thick walls and a reinforced concrete roof, which has been preserved to give visitors an insight into wartime conditions.
Renovation of the bunker began in 2014, and since then it has been converted into a museum and meeting room. Bodø Bunker Museum offers tours and rental options upon request, giving both locals and visitors a chance to learn more about the historical significance of the facility and the war's impact on the region.
