Salmon Center Bodø is an exhibition center that focuses on Norwegian salmon and the aquaculture industry. The center functions as an information and learning center for both visitors and industry players. It houses shared offices for over 35 different players in aquaculture, which promotes collaboration and innovation in the sector.
The center offers a range of activities for visitors, including rib trips to viewing locations such as Storevika and Hallsteinhamn. It receives visits from tourists, school classes and industry professionals, and offers free tours for school classes, which include film screenings and tastings. In addition, the Salmon Center hosts innovation camps and has available VR games to engage and educate visitors about aquaculture.
