Bodø prison is a high-security prison for men, located in Bodø. The prison has a capacity of 56 places and is equipped to handle inmates with various needs. Health services are offered, as well as program activities that focus on the rehabilitation of inmates. The prison also has a restorative process which aims to support inmates in their rehabilitation.
In addition to rehabilitation measures, Bodø prison has a unit for drug control and drug management. There are opportunities for leave for inmates, as well as access to visits, letters and telephone calls. The prison also has routines for transfers to other prisons in Norway, which gives flexibility in handling inmates.
