Aspåsen School is a primary school located in Bodø municipality, established in 1966 as a gift from Bodø to Bodø. The school has undergone a total renovation and rebuilding from June 2018 to January 2021, and is now co-located with Bodø Cultural School. This provides a varied offer for students and promotes cooperation between the two institutions.
The school has approximately 360 pupils and 50 staff, and offers teaching from 1st to 7th grade. Aspåsen School emphasizes creating a safe, good and inclusive learning environment for all students. In addition to regular teaching, the school offers school milk and school fruit as part of its health and well-being measures. To ensure the students' safety, the school has also implemented an electronic notification channel called "Speak out!" to handle unsafe situations.
